Villanova University's Roundabout Survey

Villanova University is conducting a research focusing on the Roundabout impacts on the community. The following survey pertains to the roundabout on intersection State Route 320, Rutgers Avenue and Chester Road in Swarthmore completed in 2015. The purpose of this survey is to explore and gather information on the perceptions of the newly constructed roundabout from pedestrians and drivers who utilize it. The survey seeks to understand the changes in attitudes, behaviors, and quality of life for the residents in the Swarthmore community. Information gathered from this survey will help in assessing the progress made towards Federal Highway Administration’s goals of creating livable communities.

If you have any questions about this survey, how the data will be used, or how to obtain a copy of the final document of this project, please do not hesitate to contact the Principal Investigator, Dr. Seri Park (, of Villanova University.
