Farmers Market
The Swarthmore Farmers Market is held every Saturday from May through November in the parking lot in front of Borough Hall. This is a great way to buy fresh, local products directly from the farmers that grow them and the producers that bring them each week. Some of our vendors include:
Beechwood Orchards- Fresh, seasonal orchard fruits and berries form their farm outside of Gettysburg.
Forrest Acres-Fresh pork and beef along with locally produce cheeses and more.
Berry Patch Farms- A variety of fresh vegetables, fruits, field flowers and other seasonal produce.
Willing Hands Farm-A selection of field grown vegetables and herbs.
Big Sky Bakery-A wide variety of breads, pastries and other baked goods freshly baked that morning in their their local ovens.
Davidson's Mushrooms-Direct from their farm in Kennett Square, Davidson's provides a variety of specialty mushrooms, including porcinis, portobello, crimini, and more.
Indian Orchards-Local fruits and berries along with wonderful pies and pastries with fruits from their farm.
Barbara's Scones-A selection of delectable scones made with local fresh fruits and herbs. Try their lavender scones.
Hobb's Coffee-To go along with your scone, get a great cup of Hobb's coffee to start out your morning at the market.
Parpedelle's Pasta-The Head Nut brings a wonderful selection of pastas in every shape and flavoring.
John and Kira's Candies-Delectable hand-made chocolates and other sweets. A winner of "Best in
Philadelphia".
Stratton-Wynnoor Farms-Fresh local fruits and vegetables from one of the farmers whose great products can also be found at the Swarthmore COOP
